Jer. 29:11 reads "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." I have learned a few things over these 26 years that have helped shape me as a person. One amazing principle that has cultivated my confidence is that “People Are People Too.” That statement simply means that you have things that you enjoy about yourself and things that you could be better at and also things that can make you shy or self-conscious about. Looking at others you may think that they don’t have areas like that. “They have it all together…” or they seem to.
No matter what level of success or period in life a person is in they still have areas in their life that aren’t perfected, just like you. They have likes, dislikes, things they do well, things they fail at, and some dreams that they are working towards.
Value is the regard that something is held to deserve; the importance, worth, or usefulness of something.
You are valuable. You have something to offer the world that only you can bring, and that something is you! You may not perform like Beyonce, speak like Obama, or have wealth like Bill Gates, but you have something on the inside of you that can make an impact on everyone you come in contact with. You may still be on the search to uncover what that something is, but know you are not on that search alone.
The hope diamond is worth over $200 million because of its uniqueness. It has a funny color and is oversized and people love it! Understand that your value is in the fact that you embrace being the best you that you can be. (2 Timothy 1:7 & Romans 12:4-8). You were not put here to be like everyone else “Your significance is in your difference not in your likeness”

1-2 So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering.
Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it.
Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.
