Our Leadership

Pastor Patrick O. Billups,  Lead Pastor

Pastor Patrick O. Billups accepted his call to preach in 2007 during a morning worship service. God had previously blessed him with the position as minister of music in 2006. As a minister in training, Patrick continued the study of ministry by serving in many different ministries and capacities. Beyond the "On-the-job" training he also attended and completed New Creation Ministries "Ministry Training Class" in February of 2009.

In November of 2009 New Creation Ministries officially recognized the call of God on his life and granted him a license to preach as well as a license as Minister of Music. December 17th 2011 also was a day of honor where Minister Billups received the Pastor's Award for Ministry in excellence in respect to "Joys of Christmas with Joyful Noise." Throughout the years of preparation for ministry Pastor Billups has served in many ministries and been honored with many recognitions.

In 2011 Pastor Billups graduated from Christopher Newport University with a BA in Music with a Minor in Religious Studies. In 2012 Pastor Billups was ordained and appointed to Assistant Youth-Pastor, and in 2013 to Youth Pastor.  Pastor Billups and his family felt the mandate to plant a church in Mathews VA, and established RELEVANT CHURCH in 2014. God has been truly faithful, and Pastor Billups and his family are excited to see what he does next!
